VICT welcomes PH ambassador to Melbourne

Victoria International Container Terminal (VICT) recently attended a function welcoming His Excellency Antonio A. Morales, Ambassador of the Philippines to Australia.

The function, hosted by Jesus Domingo, Philippine consul general in Melbourne, was attended by distinguished representatives from the Filipino community in Melbourne and Victoria.

In his opening speech, Ambassador Morales highlighted the strong trade and cultural relationship existing between Victoria and the Philippines. He also acknowledged the 80th anniversary of such friendship this year.

The ambassador mentioned both International Container Terminal Services, Inc. and VICT as bright examples of relevant and successful investments in Australia by a Philippine company. 

He thanked everyone in attendance and encouraged Filipinos to continue representing the Philippines in Victoria.
