VICT welcomes inaugural call of HMM Platinum

 
Victoria International Container Terminal (VICT) recently welcomed the HMM Platinum on its maiden call at the Port of Melbourne as part of the North East Asia-Australia Express (A1X) service. The A1X service offers shipping connections between South Korea, China, Japan and Australia, offering efficiency and reliability to customers in the regions. With a capacity of 5,023 TEUs, a length overall of 255.4 meters, and a deadweight of 63,014 tons on a 13.5-meter draft, the HMM Platinum represents one of the newer additions to the A1X fleet, enhancing service frequency and capacity on this key regional route.
