VICT supports PoM educational center

Victoria International Container Terminal (VICT) continues to support the Port of Melbourne’s (PoM) Port Educational Centre, an initiative that introduces high school students to careers in logistics and port operations.

Primarily aimed at high school students in Years 10 to 12 who are looking for a career path, the initiative invites industry professionals to share insights in schools about possible career opportunities in their respective fields. VICT proudly contributes to this initiative by hosting student visits to the terminal, discussing career roles in port operations, and providing insights on what it takes to be successful in these roles.

By supporting the educational center initiative, VICT creates awareness among the youth in one of the Victorian economy’s most important industries.
