VICT supports panel with Victorian government opposition leaders

Victoria International Container Terminal (VICT) sponsored the recent Opposition Policy Briefing organized by the Victorian Transport Association. 

Attended by high profile representatives of the transport and logistics industries, the event was an opportunity for participants to personally engage with Hon. Danny O’Brien, MP – Victorian shadow minister for roads and safety, and Hon. David Hodgett, MP – Victorian shadow minister for manufacturing and innovation.

Bruno Porchietto, VICT chief executive officer, delivered the event’s opening remarks and introduced VICT’s important role across the Victorian supply chain sector. He also provided insight on the innovations and sustainable technologies at work in the terminal.

Various topics were discussed in relation to transport and logistics safety and efficiency. The discussions specifically focused on foreseen infrastructure development in the medium and long term, road safety regulations, and traffic congestion in key urban areas.
