VICT promotes inclusivity in logistics, transport industries

Victoria International Container Terminal (VICT) joined the Wayfinder Heartland Boat Tour this July, supporting an initiative that promotes inclusion and raises awareness on career opportunities in the logistics and transport sectors.

Organized by Wayfinder in partnership with the Port of Melbourne, the event welcomed young women exploring potential careers in the industry. Logistics professionals shared insights about their roles and career journeys, which covered locations across the Port of Melbourne.

Wayfinder is an initiative led by the Australian Logistics Council to engage the future workforce and support diversity across the sector. As a long-time supporter of Wayfinder, VICT regularly participates in its programs like student engagements and industry panels.

The boat tour is one of several outreach efforts to increase understanding of the logistics field and connect emerging talent with experienced industry professionals.
