VICT hosts Australia Logistics Council delegation

Victoria International Container Terminal (VICT) recently welcomed the Australia Logistics Council (ALC) and its members for a terminal tour at the Port of Melbourne.

The delegation included senior representatives from the Australian Government’s transport and maritime divisions, alongside leaders from the Port of Melbourne, HERE Technologies and Coca-Cola Europacific Partners.

Guests toured VICT’s shipside and landside operations, gaining insight into how the terminal’s automated equipment, integrated systems and people work together to support the safe and efficient movement of cargo.

The visit also created an opportunity to discuss how technology, infrastructure and industry collaboration can help strengthen the efficiency and resilience of Australia’s supply chains.

As an ALC partner, VICT values the opportunity to share practical operational insights with government and industry leaders, and contribute to discussions shaping the future of Australia’s freight and logistics sector.
