Rio Brasil Terminal (RBT) continues to set new benchmarks for the port industry with a series of operational milestones in recent months.

In July, RBT handled 3,541 containers during the call of the CMA CGM Amazonia, a 13,000-TEU capacity vessel operating the Asia–East Coast of South America service. The call set a record for the most containers handled in a single vessel operation, surpassing the previous record established in 2023.

In September, RBT achieved another first by simultaneously handling three vessels and one barge. The operation involved 4,970 tons of general cargo and 1,063 containers, underscoring the terminal’s growing capability and efficiency as a multipurpose facility.

These consecutive achievements demonstrate RBT’s commitment to operational excellence, continuous improvement, and its pivotal role in supporting Brazil’s maritime logistics sector.
