Regional Victoria students visit VICT

Students from Regional Victoria recently visited Victoria International Container Terminal (VICT) through its ongoing partnership with the Port of Melbourne Education Centre. The program, which started last year, aims to introduce young people to career opportunities in the logistics and maritime sector.

During the visit, students attended a presentation outlining the range of career pathways within container terminal operations and gained insight into the technologies that support VICT’s operations as the Southern Hemisphere’s only fully automated container terminal.

VICT continues to support regular student visits through the program and looks forward to further engagement with the Port of Melbourne Education Centre to help inform and inspire the next generation of industry professionals.
