MICT, PMTLAI discuss supply chain issues
Manila International Container Terminal (MICT) leadership met with the board of the Philippine Multimodal Transport and Logistics Association Inc. (PMTLAI) on July 7 at Solaire Entertainment City to discuss supply chain issues and logistics operations.
MICT executives shared updates on yard utilization, berthing systems and space allocation, noting the need for coordination across the industry to improve cargo movement. Both organizations discussed areas for collaboration to improve efficiency, cargo predictability and supply chain performance.
The meeting was attended by Christian Lozano, MICT chief executive officer, and Nikki Ong, MICT commercial head, together with Gregg Sebastian, PMTLAI president; Don Aquias, PMTLAI vice president for sea freight; Christine Caguiat, PMTLAI secretary general; and Tony Camacho and Arnold Cabawatan, PMTLAI directors.
