1 million safe man-hours for SLCT Marine Works project

The South Luzon Container Terminal (SLCT) Marine Works Project reached one million safe man-hours, reflecting the commitment of the ICTSI Global Engineering team, contractors and workforce to maintain safe working conditions throughout the terminal’s development.

Personnel gathered to recognize the accomplishment and the contributions of those involved. Grace Sales, SLCT Marine project manager, said the record highlights the importance of maintaining safe work practices as construction progresses:  “We celebrate one million safe man-hours, a milestone that we should all be proud of. Tomorrow, safety starts again as we start working on the next task, decision and hour. So, let’s not only celebrate today’s achievement but also continue to strive toward the next one.” 

The activity concluded with a site cleanup in support of the project’s environmental stewardship efforts.
