VCT turns one

Visayas Container Terminal (VCT), International Container Terminal Services, Inc.’s (ICTSI) newest cargo handling facility in the Philippines, celebrated its first year of operation last April.

VCT organized a ceremony at the container freight station, gathering management personnel, employees, and guests to commemorate the terminal’s first anniversary and growing role in the region’s supply chain.

At the event, VCT honored its First Movers – the pioneering team that launched the terminal’s operations. Awards were also presented for outstanding employee performance, including Perfect Toolbox and TARA Attendance, Extra Mile (operators), Checker, Foreman, and Team Leaders of the Year.

With all the achievements during its inaugural year of operation, VCT looks to expand its service offerings and enhance the regional logistics chain.
