SBITC successfully vaccinates employees

Subic Bay International Terminals (SBITC) has successfully completed its COVID-19 vaccination program as part of measures to safeguard employee health and prevent disruptions to the terminal’s operation.

“A healthy and safe workplace is our topmost priority, which means we need to get everyone vaccinated against the coronavirus. We’re looking to achieve a 100 percent vaccination rate for both our full-time and on-call employees,” said Henry Dungca, SBITC Terminal Manager.

Qualified dependents of SBITC employees were also entitled to receive COVID vaccines under the program. A total of 237 employees and 128 dependents were vaccinated at the Solaire-ICTSI Foundation Inc. Vaccination Center in Parañaque. Three employees, on the other hand, will get their vaccines at a later time due to medical reasons.

Mr. Dungca noted that employees were enthusiastic and receptive of the vaccination program. Management credits consistent information campaign and proper orientation regarding the effects of the vaccine for the excellent employee turnout.
