ICTSI Pakistan hits 10 million TEU milestone

Pakistan International Container Terminal (PICT), International Container Terminal Services, Inc.’s subsidiary at the Port of Karachi, recently marked a milestone with the handling of its 10-millionth TEU since commencing operations in 2002.

“This hallmark achievement is a result of synchronized efforts and dedication of our entire team, along with the fortifying partnership and cohesion we enjoy with our esteemed customers, who are among the key elements of our successful operations. We thank our employees for their dedication, our customers for their patronage, and stakeholders for helping us reach this milestone,” said Khurram Aziz Khan, PICT Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Khan led a simple ceremony to commemorate the landmark achievement and was joined by Hans-Ole Madsen, ICTSI Regional Head – Europe, Middle East and Africa; Rune Rasmussen, PICT Independent Director; and PICT’s senior management team.
