CMSA rolls out vaccine as flu season starts

October marks the start of the flu season in Mexico, which could last until May of the following year. To mitigate the health risks and safeguard employees and other stakeholders at the terminal, CMSA – in coordination with the Ministry of Health – implemented the first stage of its influenza vaccination campaign.

Around 145 individuals were vaccinated in the first stage, including collaborators and external personnel who are actively manning critical areas of the terminal. Stage two is scheduled to commence in December.

The flu vaccination campaign demonstrates CMSA’s longstanding culture of prevention of illnesses and commitment to protect the welfare of employees.  The initiative is critical to the ongoing fight against COVID-19 as health officials warn the coexistence of both diseases would further put pressure on hospitals and health workers.
