BGT strengthens ties with NVOCCs, feeder operators in India-Iraq market

Last 24 February, Basra Gateway Terminal (BGT) met with the main non-vessel operating common carrier (NVOCC) partners and feeder operators covering the increasingly important market between India and Iraq.

BGT organized the meeting to help close the gap for the NVOCCs by establishing direct contact with end customers, and by providing them with system tools for improved transparency and control shipments.

Phillip Marsham, BGT Chief Executive Director, and Munther Al-Saiegh, BGT Executive Director, presented BGT’s services and provided an update on current opportunities in Iraq.

At the end of the presentation, the NVOCCs asked BGT to visit India in the near future to share vital information with key local stakeholders in this growing business sector.
