VICT opens Operation Village for waterside staff

Victoria International Container Terminal (VICT) unveiled the new Operation Village in May as part of its commitment to employee welfare and workplace well-being. 

Bruno Porchietto, VICT chief executive officer, led the ribbon-cutting ceremony to open the facility. 

Designed exclusively for the waterside operational staff, the Operation Village provides a safe and comfortable environment where employees can take breaks during their shifts. The space includes a dedicated area for meals and recreation, equipped with modern furniture and appliances to support staff comfort and convenience.

Positive feedback from employees reflect appreciation for the new facility and highlight VICT’s focus to maintain a high standard of care for its workforce.
