VCT welcomes ECCP delegation

Visayas Container Terminal (VCT) recently hosted a delegation from the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) for a site visit and dialogue to strengthen collaboration and explore new areas for partnership.

The ECCP group included Florian Gottein, executive director; Joe Bantiling, business council chair; Angelluz Aguirre, Western Visayas branch officer; and Emalyn Sotrina, member.

Discussions centered on identifying market gaps and growth opportunities across the Visayas, particularly in the Panay-Guimaras region. The dialogue highlighted VCT’s role as a strategic gateway that supports agricultural exports, renewable energy projects, and other local industries.

With its growing capabilities, the terminal continues to position itself as a vital link for regional trade and a reliable entry point for future European investment in central Philippines.
