VCT joins SCMAP Summit
Visayas Container Terminal (VCT) took part in the Supply Chain Management Association of the Philippines (SCMAP) Summit on Feb. 6, reinforcing its role in supporting regional logistics and supply chain improvements.
The summit brought together industry leaders to discuss emerging logistics trends and operational challenges. VCT’s participation focused on helping cargo owners and logistics providers make faster, better‑informed routing and cost decisions.
VCT representatives highlighted the benefits of directing cargo through Iloilo instead of Cebu, allowing shippers to simplify inland transport and manage logistics costs more efficiently.
Engaging directly with stakeholders, VCT underscored how its scalable terminal capacity can support the growing economic activity in Western Visayas.
For VCT, the summit was an opportunity to position the terminal not only as a port operator, but as a strategic partner helping customers redesign and improve supply chain efficiency.
