VCT hones leadership skills with supervisory training

Visayas Container Terminal (VCT) personnel underwent Supervisory Skills Training from August 6 to 8 as part of the company’s efforts to strengthen leadership roles and streamline quayside and yard operations.

Supervisors, foremen, team leaders and checkers from the operations group participated in sessions on supervision, communication and team management. Interactive exercises were also conducted on practical team leadership and improved coordination.

The training was facilitated by Alvin John Lambino, Roge Dula, Prices Gasendo and Quecel Ordaniel from the operations and human resources departments. For the closing remarks, VCT officer-in-charge terminal manager Jongie Sayon stressed the importance of leadership towards achieving safe and efficient operations.

The training is part of Project Delta, VCT’s continuing initiative to build accountability, enhance safety and raise operational performance.
