TecPlata recently welcomed a delegation from the Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in Argentina.
Headed by Vice Consul Armand Louis Dulay, the delegation was received by Juan Pablo Trujillo, TecPlata chief executive officer. The visitors toured the terminal and got a firsthand look at its operations, infrastructure and plans for future growth.
For TecPlata, the visit carried special meaning. As part of the ICTSI Group, TecPlata represents the largest port investment in Argentina in the last century—a modern, efficient terminal built to connect Argentine trade with the world. Hosting the Philippine delegation served as an opportunity to show how ICTSI’s commitment translates into day-to-day operations in South America.
The visit also highlighted the strong ties between the Philippines and Argentina, as well as TecPlata’s role in bridging the two countries through trade and logistics. It also laid a foundation for addressing futures challenges and opportunities.
“It was a pleasure to receive our guests from the Embassy of the Philippines. Being part of ICTSI, we feel a special connection to the Philippines and are proud to show the work our team does every day to move Argentina’s foreign trade forward,” explained Trujillo.
