Tecon Suape maintains carbon neutral certification

Tecon Suape has earned carbon neutral certification for the fourth consecutive year, demonstrating its long-term commitment to sustainability and responsible environmental management.

The terminal offset 5,089 metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent in 2026, corresponding to its direct and indirect greenhouse gas emissions from the previous year. The offsets were secured through the purchase of premium carbon credits from Cerâmica Bom Jesus in Paudalho, Pernambuco, supporting initiatives that reduce greenhouse gas emissions and contribute to broader climate action efforts.

Tecon Suape has maintained its carbon neutral certification since 2023, reflecting sustainability as a core element of its business strategy and environmental stewardship.

The certification also recognizes the collective efforts of the terminal’s workforce in integrating responsible environmental practices into daily operations.

Tecon Suape continues to advance initiatives that generate sustainable value for its customers, employees, partner communities and the environment.
