Tecon Suape earns Green Company Seal

Tecon Suape is among the 16 companies from Pernambuco awarded with the 2026 Green Company Seal during a ceremony led by Governor Raquel Lyra on June 10 at the Palácio do Campo das Princesas.

Tecon Suape, for the second consecutive year, was awarded the Green Company Seal, a certification given by the Government of Pernambuco to organizations that stand out for adopting sustainable practices and promoting actions aligned with Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles. 

Created by State Law No. 16.112/2017 and regulated in 2024, the Green Company Seal Program is coordinated by a commission formed by the Secretariat of the Environment, Sustainability and Fernando de Noronha, the State Environmental Agency, the Commerial Board of Pernambuco, and the Secretariat of Professional Development and Entrepreneurship. The initiative aims to encourage business models that combine economic growth, environmental preservation and social inclusion.

For Tecon Suape, the achievement reflects the continuous work carried out to make its operations increasingly efficient, responsible and committed to sustainable development, creating value for society, customers and the future generation.

Valid for two years, the Green Company Seal adds to other recent recognitions in the terminal’s socio-environmental agenda, such as the Ocean Friend 2025 seal, which positioned Tecon Suape among the country’s leading environmentally responsible port facilities. 

The company continues to strengthen its operations through innovation and sustainable business practices while supporting Pernambuco’s production chain and the sustainable development of the Brazilian port sector.
