SBITC marks 25th year

Subic Bay International Terminal Corp. (SBITC) marked its 25th anniversary on August 1 at the Subic Bay Travelers Hotel, bringing together employees, executives, and partners to reflect on and celebrate the company’s journey and future direction. The event adopted a Modern Filipiniana theme, blending traditional elements with contemporary looks.

Christian R. Gonzalez, ICTSI executive vice president, recognized the contributions of SBITC’s workforce and partners over the years. He closed his remarks with a toast to the team’s continued unity and commitment.

Philippe Baudry, SBITC executive director, outlined the Company’s strategic priorities, including digital transformation, sustainability and enhancing the company’s global competitiveness.

The occasion also reunited former executives: Justin Tolentino, NorthPort CEO, and Christian L. Lozano, MICT CEO, shared personal reflections on their time with SBITC; while Roberto Locsin, former SBITC CEO and now Manila Water’s COO for international business and CAO, sent a video message expressing pride in the company’s progress.

Among the guests were Juan Miguel Delgado, Northern Star Energy Corp. COO and former SBITC Vice Chairman, along with officers from MICT.

The evening featured music and camaraderie, celebrating collaboration and growth. SBITC looks ahead to the future with a renewed focus on its people and long-term vision.
