SBITC logs 1-million safe man-hours

Subic Bay International Terminals (SBITC) has logged one million safe man-hours without a Lost-Time Incident (LTI), marking a milestone in its safety performance.
The achievement highlights SBITC’s commitment to the safety and well-being of its employees, clients, and partners. The terminal maintained its LTI-free record while managing challenging working conditions, including high temperatures and complex cargo operations.
“This milestone is more than a number—it represents a culture of care and responsibility,” said Philippe Baudry, SBITC executive director.
To mark the achievement, SBITC put up a Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) exhibit to promote the four operational pillars of health, safety, security, and environmental stewardship. The exhibit featured interactive displays, safety demonstrations, and recognition of employees who exemplify safe work practices.
SBITC is committed to sustaining its safety record and build on the momentum toward the next million safe man-hours.
