Rio Brasil Terminal sets vessel productivity record

Rio Brasil Terminal set a productivity record during the August 18 call of the COSCO SHIPPING MEXICO, reaching 130.8 moves per hour during operations on the 14,100-TEU container ship. 

The record reflects the integration of the terminal’s new quay cranes, which are now a prominent feature of the Guanabara skyline. Commissioned last July, the cranes are helping turn equipment investment into measurable gains in operational performance. 

The recent result marks another step in Rio Brasil Terminal’s efforts to strengthen its capabilities and deliver efficient services as it prepares for the future demands of container shipping.
