PH bourse honors ICTSI’s 2T market cap

The Philippine Stock Exchange Inc. (PSE) on September 1 feted International Container Terminal Services Inc. (ICTSI) for reaching a market capitalization of P2 trillion, making it the first listed Philippine company to achieve the mark.

After listing on the stock exchange in 1992, ICTSI reached a market capitalization of P1 trillion in 2024. Less than a year later, it surpassed the P2 trillion level, with its market value reaching an all-time high of P2.07 trillion on July 20.

“Performance of this magnitude is never accidental,” said Jose Pardo, PSE Chairman. “It reflects resilience, discipline and leadership.”

Accepting the recognition, Enrique K. Razon Jr., ICTSI Chairman and President, said the company’s growth has been driven by its focus on execution and continuous improvement.

“What ICTSI really is, is a company that gets things done,” Razon said. “We do not stop moving. We move and move and never stop.”

As of August 31, ICTSI represented 41.11 percent of the MSCI Philippines Index, making it the index’s largest constituent.
