OPC marks 11 years in Puerto Cortés

OPC management

Operadora Portuaria Centroamericana marked its 11th year of operation in Puerto Cortés with clients and strategic partners during the OPC Experience event.

The event served as a platform to strengthen business relationships, share insights and highlight more than a decade of achievement. Since commencing operations in 2014, OPC has introduced notable improvements in infrastructure, technology and sustainability–developments that have institutionalized Puerto Cortés role as globally competitive logistics hub in the CA-4 region.

OPC has set itself as an international benchmark in port management and positioned Puerto Cortés among the top 100 ports worldwide. With investments exceeding USD295 million and more than 7.5 million TEUs mobilized, OPC continues to drive logistics growth in Central America and strengthen the region’s role in global trade.

The OPC Experience also recognized the leadership of Juan Corujo, OPC chief executive officer, and the contributions of the management and operational teams, whose collective efforts made these achievements possible.
