MMT stays on PISI board

Geraldine Santos (fifth from left, front row) retains her position as PISI public relations officer.

Manila Multipurpose Terminal (MMT) remains represented on the board of trustees of the Philippine Iron and Steel Institute (PISI) following the re-election of its Commercial Head, Geraldine Santos, for the 2026–2028 term.

Ms. Santos was re-elected during PISI’s board elections held on February 11. In addition to retaining her board seat, she was also appointed as the institute’s public relations officer.

In her expanded role, Santos will work closely with newly elected PISI President Joel Ronquillo of SteelAsia Manufacturing Corp. in leading the organization’s communications and advocacy initiatives.

Ms. Santos’ re-election reflects continued industry confidence in her leadership and reinforces MMT’s role in supporting the country’s infrastructure development and steel supply chain.
