MMT, COSCO explore new trade opportunities

Manila Multipurpose Terminal (MMT) met with COSCO Specialized Carrier in Xiamen, China to identify potential cargo opportunities and strengthen commercial ties.

The meeting is part of MMT’s continuing efforts to expand trade links, enhance multi-cargo handling capabilities and attract new cargo volumes. Geraldine Santos, MMT commercial head, led the engagement, which included discussions about the planned Xiamen-Manila service with Xiamen Mintai Ferry. The service is expected to provide an additional route for cargo movement between the two cities.
