MICT's Luntayao named outstanding social worker

Rosauro R. Luntayao, Manila International Container Terminal (MICT) Sustainability and Development section head, was conferred the esteemed Natatanging Pagkilala sa mga Huwarang Manggagawang Panlipunan (Special Recognition for Exemplary Social Worker) during the Filipino Social Worker's Day celebration on June 19.
The ASEAN Social Work Consortium-Philippines, in partnership with the Philippine Department of Social Welfare and Development, recognized Luntayao for his significant contributions to the field.
Luntayao was formerly national president of the Philippine Association of Social Workers Inc. (PASWI), the government-accredited professional organization for licensed social workers in the country. He has since served as commissioner for the education and governance committees of the International Federation of Social Workers–Asia Pacific and continues to contribute as a member of the Professional Regulation Commission’s Continuing Professional Development Council for Social Work.
