MICT launches learning center

The Manila International Container Terminal (MICT) has launched MICT EDGE, a learning center that provides role-based training and supports workforce development, multi-skilling and succession planning. It also offers training programs for operations, safety, leadership and workplace engagement. 

MICT EDGE, which stands for Empowering Development, Growth and Excellence, organizes training under four fundamentals: EDGE OPERATE for operational, technical and engineering skills; EDGE SAFE for safety and operational discipline; EDGE LEAD for leadership development; and EDGE CONNECT for culture and employee engagement.

“As terminal operations evolve with technology and automation, developing our people is critical to sustaining operational excellence,” said Christing Naluz, MICT Human Resources, Equipment and Health, Safety and Environment head. 

“MICT EDGE is built on a simple belief: Capability building, shaping leaders, and driving excellence. It is how we prepare our people for the future of the terminal.”
