MICT engineer completes Everest Base Camp trek

Jessah Mae Reyes, reliability engineer at the Manila International Container Terminal Engineering Department - Planning and Documentation Section, completed the Everest Base Camp trek, joining 15 Filipino mountaineers on the high-altitude journey held from April 7 to 17.

Organized by Yabag Mountaineering and Nepal-based Third Eye Adventure, the trek gathered climbers to prepare them for expeditions, including possible summit attempts of Mount Everest.

Reyes’ participation marks a personal milestone and highlights the growing presence of Filipino climbers on international trekking routes.
