MGT Young Leaders Academy recognized with Trophée Kongo 2026

Matadi Gateway Terminal (MGT) was recognized with the Trophée Kongo 2026 for its efforts to develop local talent through the MGT Young Leaders Academy, an initiative that prepares young people for future careers in the port and logistics industry in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

The recognition highlights the collaborative efforts of MGT, the ICTSI Foundation, Inc., and the ICTSI Global Academy in supporting the program and advancing initiatives on talent development and knowledge transfer.

The MGT Young Leaders Academy provides young people with opportunities to develop their skills and gain knowledge relevant to the port and logistics sector, supporting the development of future industry leaders.

Timothée Jeannin Pons, MGT chief executive officer, received the award on behalf of MGT and its employees during the awarding ceremony.
