MCT conducts ICTSI Radar training session for stakeholders
Mindanao Container Terminal (MCT) hosted 108 maritime stakeholders for an ICTSI Radar training session at the Phividec Industrial Authority Complex on June 25.
Led by the PH Customer Experience team, the session guided shipping lines, cargo owners, brokers, customs processors and freight forwarders through the platform’s self-service features, including container tracking, shipment monitoring and access to Equipment Interchange Receipts.
Aurelio Garcia, MCT chief executive officer and general manager, opened the event with a discussion on the role of digital tools in port operations and customer transactions.
MCT’s Finance team also presented upcoming enhancements to the Online Payment System, while UnionBank representatives discussed digital banking and online payment options.
Participants shared positive feedback on the session.
“The doubts and questions I had were answered,” said a representative from AA Genesis Trucking. “I learned the easiest way to find a van number.”
A representative from Maersk described the session as organized and informative.
Gemma Gloria, MCT terminal manager, closed the program and discussed efforts of MCT and the Bureau of Customs to improve service delivery through technology and stakeholder engagement.
