LGICT marks a decade of logistics excellence

Laguna Gateway Inland Container Terminal (LGICT) recently marked its 10th year as Southern Luzon’s leading dry port. To celebrate its 10th year, LGICT held a thanksgiving mass in March 2025 and prepared small gifts for guests, visitors, and stakeholders.

Since opening for business in 2015, LGICT has become a key logistics hub for containerized, refrigerated, ISO tank, project and out-of-gauge cargo across Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon.

Over the years, LGICT has upgraded its equipment and facilities to improve service and efficiency. It expanded its container yard, upgraded gate systems and deployed more cargo handling equipment including reach stackers, terminal tractors and reefer plug-in points. LGICT also integrated digital solutions for faster transaction processing and better cargo visibility in line with the ICTSI Group’s global best practices in terminal operations.

In August 2022, the Bureau of Customs authorized LGICT to operate as a container yard – container freight station. The development strengthened the terminal’s role as a one-stop logistics center.

By August 2024, LGICT handled its one millionth TEU – a major milestone reflecting the company’s growth.

Looking ahead, LGICT remains focused on growing its services and supporting the country’s supply chain.
