Kribi Multipurpose Terminal handles first conventional vessel export of shea kernels

Kribi Multipurpose Terminal (KMT) recently handled its first export shipment of shea kernels via a conventional vessel, marking another achievement in the terminal’s expanding cargo-handling capabilities and support for Cameroon’s agricultural export sector.

The shipment originated from northern Cameroon and was transported to Kribi in bags for export. Terminal operations involved loading of unbagged shea kernel on KMT’s trucks from external warehouse, and delivery to the quayside for loading onto the vessel.

The successful handling of the shipment reflects the coordinated efforts of KMT, logistics providers, cargo stakeholders, and port authorities to ensure the efficient movement of cargo from origin to vessel.

The successful export operation demonstrates KMT’s capability to manage specialized cargo requirements while contributing to the growth of Cameroon’s agricultural value chain and export market.

As a key logistics gateway in Central Africa, KMT continues to support the development of regional trade by providing reliable and efficient cargo-handling services for a wide range of import and export commodities.
