IF, SCIPSI assist General Santos public schools

The ICTSI Foundation and South Cotabato Integrated Port Services Inc. provided education support to two public schools in General Santos City: Samboang-Ngilay High School and Balite Elementary School.

Samboang-Ngilay High School received health and disaster preparedness equipment and printing supplies for its 281 students. The support also aids activities that highlight the school’s Bla’an, Muslim, and Christian cultural heritage.

Balite Elementary School received a renovated Reading Nook furnished with storybooks, audio-visual tools, and learning materials for its 1,260 students and 31 teachers.

SCIPSI employee-volunteers led by Gabriel Munasque, SCIPSI general manager, and ICTSI Foundation staff headed by Filipina Laurena, ICTSI Foundation executive director, took part in the turnover activities.
