IF, SBITC aid Aeta community

The ICTSI Foundation and Subic Bay International Terminals (SBITC), in partnership with the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA), conducted the “Gamutan sa Pantalan” medical mission in Pastolan Village, an Aeta Ambala community in Hermosa, Bataan. The outreach provided healthcare services to 336 residents, including both Aeta and non-Aeta families.

Residents received free consultations, treatment, medicines, vitamins, and other essential supplies. Additional medicines donated by private individuals were turned over to the local health center to ensure continued support. Hot meals were served to patients and volunteers, while senior citizens received grocery packages.

Volunteers from SBITC and SBMA, including Phillipe Baudry, SBITC executive director, and Henry Dungca, SBITC management services and government affairs head, helped manage the event. Medical services were provided by doctors and healthcare professionals from the Philippine College of Occupational Medicine Olongapo Chapter and the Philippine Pediatric Society Central Luzon.

The initiative reflects the ICTSI Foundation and SBITC’s continuing support for marginalized communities through healthcare and social development programs.
