ICTSI Foundation plants trees in Palawan

The ICTSI Foundation and Forest Foundation Philippines planted 200 native timber trees in Barangay Isugod, Quezon, Palawan on July 8.

The activity forms part of an agreement signed earlier this year to restore 33 hectares across six sites in the Victoria-Anepaan Mountain Range, a key biodiversity area in Palawan.

The two organizations are working with a local Indigenous Peoples organization to maintain and protect the forest areas covered by the project.

The tree-planting activity helps restore forest cover and protects habitats within the Victoria-Anepaan Mountain Range.
