IF, LGICT champion literacy in Calamba

The ICTSI Foundation and Laguna Gateway Inland Container Terminal (LGICT) donated a fully equipped Reading Hub to Majada Out Elementary School in Calamba, Laguna, to promote literacy and support student learning.

The hub offers age-appropriate books, educational materials, and comfortable seating, creating a dedicated space for students to develop reading skills.

School officials, teachers, and students joined representatives from LGICT and the ICTSI Foundation at the ribbon cutting.

Amor Tuiza, school principal, expressed gratitude, saying the hub will serve as more than a collection of books. “It’s a place where imagination can grow and confidence can thrive,” she said.

The project is part of efforts by ICTSI Foundation and LGICT to expand access to education in underserved communities.
