ICTSI Foundation, BIPI spur digital learning in Bauan schools

ICTSI Foundation (IF) and Bauan International Port, Inc. (BIPI) donated 141 smart TVs and 58 printers to 12 public schools in Bauan, Batangas during an August ceremony at Bauan Technical Integrated High School.

The equipment benefits over 6,000 students from Bauan East Central School, West Bauan Central School, As-Is Integrated School, Alagao-Malindig Elementary School (ES), Manghinao ES, Manghinao 1 ES, Balayong ES, Bolo ES, Colvo ES, San Diego ES, San Roque ES, and San Pablo ES.

Patricia Licup, IF program head, and Yrish Santos, BIPI human resources superintendent, handed the equipment over to Wendah Katrina Rivera-Dolor, Bauan mayor, who was accompanied by other local government, Department of Education, and school officials.

Mayor Rivera-Dolor thanked IF and BIPI for supporting the municipality's education, economy, and environment.
