ICTSI teams join coastal cleanup
Three International Container Terminal Services Inc. (ICTSI) terminals joined the 41st International Coastal Cleanup on September 19, supporting environmental stewardship efforts in their host communities.
Volunteers from Manila Multipurpose Terminal collected 3,600 kilograms of waste along Pier 18 in Vitas, Tondo. Organized in partnership with the Philippine Ports Authority, Philippine Coast Guard and Barangay 101, the activity also marked the opening of the 27th National Maritime Week.
Meanwhile, Cavite Gateway Terminal joined the Municipality of Tanza and provincial environmental authorities in a shoreline cleanup along Capipisa in Cavite. On the other hand, Visayas Container Terminal partnered with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources for a coastal cleanup in Oton, Iloilo.
