ICTSI head of legal shares ESG best practices at lawyers’ summit

Attorney Lirene C. Mora, International Container Terminal Services Inc. (ICTSI) Global Corporate Legal Affairs vice president, joined the Asian Legal Business (ALB) Philippines In-House Legal Summit 2025 as a panelist on October 8.
Carrying the theme “Guardians of Sustainability: Legal as ESG Architect,” the summit explored how in-house legal teams drive environmental, social and governance (ESG) transformation within organizations.
Atty. Mora highlighted the importance of proactive legal leadership to embed ESG commitments into company operations. She discussed how legal departments can translate ESG goals to bind provisions in contracts and governance frameworks, monitor regulatory developments, and uphold accountability.
Atty. Mora was joined by Atty. Eunice Monsod, Salmon Group Ltd. chief compliance officer, and Atty. Joan de Venecia-Fabul, PLDT chief legal counsel and head of regulatory and strategic affairs. The panel was moderated by Rhys Alexis Yasay, Nissan Philippines Inc. general manager.
