ICTSI Foundation, Voice of the Free bring anti-trafficking drive to Manila students
ICTSI Foundation (IF), ICTSI Global Corporate Legal Affairs (GCLA) and Voice of the Free (VoF) brought their anti-human trafficking campaign to 664 students from Timoteo Paez High School and A.J. Villegas Vocational High School through workshops held on October 1 and 7.
Conducted under the I-Fight Movement, the sessions tackled human trafficking risks, common recruitment schemes and available reporting channels. Atty. Lirene Mora, ICTSI GCLA vice president, led discussions on warning signs and indicators of abuse, helping students recognize and respond to potential threats.
These final two sessions were built on earlier I-Fight workshops held this year at Manila High School, Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila and Gregorio Perfecto High School.
Since 2024, IF and VoF have conducted 12 I-Fight sessions, reaching more than 3,470 students across Manila with anti-trafficking awareness and prevention education.
