ICTSI Foundation to upgrade PLM College of Medicine facility
The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) has partnered with the ICTSI Foundation to improve facilities at the school’s College of Medicine, beginning with the development of a new audio-visual room at Gusaling Bagatsing in Intramuros, Manila.
Formalized through a memorandum of agreement, the project marks the ICTSI Foundation’s first infrastructure initiative with a higher education institution. The collaboration supports teaching and learning through modest yet meaningful improvements to academic spaces.
University officials welcomed the support, citing the Foundation’s ongoing educational assistance programs, which include scholarships for over 1,400 students from partner public schools, technical-vocational centers, and universities—including PLM. The Foundation’s focus continues to be on helping expand access to education in the communities where ICTSI operates.
The signing was attended by ICTSI Foundation officers led by Filipina Laurena, IF executive director, alongside members of PLM’s administration led by Atty. Domingo Reyes Jr., PLM president.
The project aligns with the education-focused efforts of Enrique K. Razon Jr., ICTSI chairman and president, who has backed similar initiatives across different learning institutions.
