ICTSI Foundation digitizes Manila public schools
The ICTSI Foundation turned over 308 units of 55-inch smart TVs with wall brackets to 11 public elementary schools in Manila, supporting the city’s “One Smart TV, One Classroom” program.
The donation benefits 12,320 students and 308 teachers at Amado V. Hernandez Elementary School (ES), Isabelo de los Reyes ES, Magat Salamat ES, Emilio Jacinto ES, Gen. Vicente Lim ES, Arsenio H. Lacson ES, Timoteo Paez ES, Cecilio Apostol ES, Corazon de Jesus ES, Manuel L. Quezon ES and Marcela Agoncillo ES.
Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso, Manila Mayor, and Filipina Laurena, ICTSI Foundation Executive Director, led the turnover ceremony at the Joaquin Domagoso Gymnasium of Rosauro Almario ES in Tondo.
The beneficiary schools are located across three districts in Manila, home to ICTSI’s flagship Manila International Container Terminal, NorthPort and Manila Multipurpose Terminal.
Since 2023, the foundation has provided smart TVs to 445 public school classrooms in Manila.
