ICTSI Foundation aids Aroma fire survivors

The ICTSI Foundation (IF) immediately extended relief assistance to 876 families affected by the recent fire at the Aroma compound in Barangay 105, Tondo, Manila.

Filipina Laurena, IF executive director, spearheaded the relief operation at the Gen. Vicente Lim Elementary School on August 9, 2025. Volunteers from ICTSI Global Corporate, Manila International Container Terminal, NorthPort, and Manila Multipurpose Terminal provided manpower for the aid distribution.

Together with Joaquin Domagoso, Manila District 1 Councilor and volunteers from the Manila Social Welfare Department, the group distributed sleeping mats, blankets, meals, and sacks of rice to all accounted families temporarily residing in the evacuation centers.

This response is part of the IF's broader community welfare program and highlights ICTSI's commitment to support its host communities especially in times of calamities.
