ICTSI Americas strengthen regional partnerships at Intermodal South America 2026

ICTSI Americas participated in the 30th edition of Intermodal South America, held from April 14-16 at Distrito Anhembi in São Paolo Brazil.

Representatives from Contecon Manzanillo, Operadora Portuaria Centroamericana, Sociedad Puerto Industrial de Aguadulce, Contecon Guayaquil, Tecon Suape, Rio Brasil Terminal, iTracker, CLIA Pouso Alegre and TecPlata joined key players from the logistics, transport and supply chain sectors across the region.

Recognized as one of the largest industry events in the Americas, the event brought together more than 500 international brands and nearly 50,000 professionals from over 90 countries. The event continues to serve as an important platform for collaboration, business development and industry dialogue across Latin America.

For ICTSI Americas, participation in the event provided an opportunity to strengthen relationships with shipping lines, cargo owners, logistics providers and other industry stakeholders while reinforcing ICTSI’s presence as an independent global port operator in the region.

Throughout the three-day event, ICTSI highlighted the capabilities and growth initiatives of its terminals in Brazil, Mexico, Ecuador, Colombia, Argentina and Honduras. Discussions focused on available capacity in key gateway markets, ongoing terminal expansion programs, and the continued development of hinterland and logistics connectivity to support evolving trade requirements.

Intermodal South America 2026 also enabled ICTSI teams across the Americas to align commercial priorities, strengthen market engagement, and advance discussions with existing and prospective partners.

As regional trade volumes continue to grow and infrastructure demand increases, ICTSI remains focused on providing flexible, scalable and reliable port solutions that support supply chain efficiency and long-term customer requirements.

With strong participation and productive engagements throughout the event, ICTSI continues to pursue opportunities that support sustainable growth and long-term partnerships across the region.
