Global Procurement launches sourcing excellence program

ICTSI Global Procurement recently launched Strategic Sourcing: Excellence Series 1, a training program designed to strengthen the strategic sourcing capabilities of procurement teams across the Group.

Held on September 17 to 18 and September 24 to 25 at the NorthPort Passenger Terminal Complex, the program brought together procurement leaders and buyers from ICTSI Global Corporate, Manila International Container Terminal, North Harbor, Subic Bay International Terminals, Manila Multipurpose Terminal, Visayas Container Terminal and Mindanao Container Terminal for training on practical approaches to sourcing, risk assessment and supply planning. 

The program aims to help participants make informed procurement decisions while balancing cost, efficiency and supply resilience. Key topics included Kraljic segmentation, make-or-buy analysis, total cost of ownership, scenario planning and risk analysis methodologies.
