Global Health and Safety Assessment Program launched
Global HSSE launched the Global Health and Safety Assessment Program to strengthen collaboration, share best practices and build a stronger safety network across regions. A dedicated Health and Safety Assessment Team composed of safety professionals from APAC, EMEA, Latin America and the Philippines was formed to support the initiative.
The program kicked off in Manila on March 3–6, 2026, with alignment sessions on standards, expectations and a unified approach to improving health and safety performance across terminals. The team also conducted site visits to MMT, NorthPort and MICT. Global HSSE thanked the terminals and their management teams for their participation and for the open, informative discussions.
The program offers a structured way to identify opportunities, highlight strong practices and support consistent improvement across diverse operations. While terminals vary in equipment, conditions and cargo types, they share a common goal: moving cargo safely and efficiently. Through learning, sharing and collaboration, the program reinforces collective experience as a driver of stronger safety performance across the network.
